A large, and beautifully painted, framed oil painting on canvas featuring the image of a World War One officer in uniform from 1916. We think he was from the Middlesex Regiment from the insignia.
This image may have been the last painted before this hero gave his life to preserve our freedom.
The canvas has some aging and cracking to its surface which, in our opinion, adds to the drama of such a piece.
H: 32"
