A Hand carved Altar Chair in pitch pine inscribed '1680' on the back of the seat.

The frame would have originally folded, but has, at some time during its long life, been fixed to make a solid frame. The joints are a little loose, but this is still a very usable and authentically interesting piece of gothic history.
